Getting Started

Welcome to Surrender Dawn. Before starting your journey, make sure that you read everything that's on the Beginner's Guide Board:

First, make sure that you get to know the rules by which we manage our site and community. For this, visit the Guide to Rules.

After that, it's fundamental to read all that there is to know about the world your character will be inserted into. In order to do so, go to the Guide to Lore.

Lastly, please take a close look at all the mechanics that dictate our roleplay and its characters. You can do this by checking out the Guide to Mechanics.

When you've done all of the above, you'll most likely be ready to start creating your character:

Create your Application Thread on the Character Creation Board. To do so, follow the instructions on the Character Application Template Thread.

Once you're done, just copy the link of the thread and head over to the Grading Center. To submit your application for review, use the General Submissions Thread.

Plantations

Dividing the city centre from the more swampy parts of the town, this area is known for its unparalleled success and efficacy when it comes to farming. If one is looking for herbs, plants, vegetables or any other type of natural ingredients then the Plantations of Fumehat are the place to buy them.

Glowcap

Glowcap earned its name from the shining mushrooms that give light to the streets during the night. This is the newer part of Fumehat, making it the heart of the city and where most regular citizens live, work and try to enjoy themselves.

Swampworks

Deeper into Fumehat are the Swampworks, frowned upon for their fame and conditions. A wet and stinking land filled with gas and fog, here the buildings are built into the trees and boats become a necessity for transportation. Gross yet unique ingredients are sold here to the most unusual people.

Sunken City

The ancient settlement now only known as Sunken City. It's said that dangerous and infected life inhabits these swamps, making it so that only the poorest risk to make the area their home. As if that wasn't enough, it's also rumoured that as one goes deeper into the ruins nature mysteriously turns into stone.

Fumehat

From the ruins of the Sunken City was built Fumehat. Considered the least lawful city of the government, it's easy for one to disappear in the murky waters and thick fog of this swamped area.
