Getting Started

Welcome to Surrender Dawn. Before starting your journey, make sure that you read everything that's on the Beginner's Guide Board:

First, make sure that you get to know the rules by which we manage our site and community. For this, visit the Guide to Rules.

After that, it's fundamental to read all that there is to know about the world your character will be inserted into. In order to do so, go to the Guide to Lore.

Lastly, please take a close look at all the mechanics that dictate our roleplay and its characters. You can do this by checking out the Guide to Mechanics.

When you've done all of the above, you'll most likely be ready to start creating your character:

Create your Application Thread on the Character Creation Board. To do so, follow the instructions on the Character Application Template Thread.

Once you're done, just copy the link of the thread and head over to the Grading Center. To submit your application for review, use the General Submissions Thread.

	Fishing Hamlet On the south side of Pale Rock is the Fishing Hamlet, a beach area that the poor appropriated and made their home. Little hand-made huts are scattered across the sands and, off to the shore, one can view small islands connected by wooden bridges. This is also where the train station is located. Gray Harbour

Further behind from the Promenade is where the best craftsmen in all of the cities flock to work and learn. Besides the pier where people can enjoy themselves, Gray Harbour is home of a massive construction hall for fishing boats and much more, but also where the only dock in the known world is located.

Pale Rock

With a lighthouse on its edge and one of the best views in the land, this giant rock formation cuts land and sea in half, dividing the city in two and giving both sides natural protection. To reach or exit Pale Rock one has to to either climb or go down the set of stairs that come from the Promenade side.

Promenade

North of Pale Rock and connected to the Fishing Hamlet and train station via a tunnel that goes through the inside of the cliff is the Promenade. Here is where the markets, houses, inns and much more are located, making this a busy space to walk around in and the center of The Wharf.

The Depths

The Depths have many entries and exits, most of them unknown, but all of them are dispersed across the cliff's walls: afterall, it's inside the Pale Rock that the complex cave system is located. The upper levels are mostly known, but the deeper ones are totally unexplored, famed for their strangeness and dangers.
